I posted photos of this one a few weeks ago. I wasn't too happy with the grind so I reworked it some. Thanks to Square_Peg and Cooper_Hill for explaining how to get a banana grind.

I'm trying a new photo posting method, so bear with me if I don't get the photos attached right away.

if u use photobucket - when you click on your image at the wheel in the top R corner, options will come up - select share, then links, then the bottom link of img code - then paste into your post. Thats how I have always done it. Hope it helps.

Got it. Thanks Operator. Photobucket is easier to use than imgur or flickr.

Should have vacuumed the rug before taking the photos.

By the way, this head has a small 8 stamped near the eye on the bottom of the axe. I assume this was to identify the craftsman that forged the axe. The bits are very hard. I feel very lucky to have found this axe head. I haven't seen a Falls City in this condition ever.

A beauty! You've got the grind perfected.

Lately I've been leaving the heel and toe ground to a slightly fatter angle than the center of the bit. I think it might help reduce chipping. Still in the experimental stage.
