I'm planning on trading my CAK plus funds for a TT KZ and I was just wondering how excellent of a chopper/all purpose knife the TT KZ is. Could you guys please post pics of you using it? Or just some experiences would be great! Thank you guys.

I have yet to use either yet... but I do have a decent comparison shot of a TTKZ next to a KZII... Best I can muster, and I'm sure that others will be along shortly to post in-use pix for ya. :)

Thank you. Any help at all is appreciated. This will be my first Busse when it comes. I'm so excited.

Well Jaxx, if you really want to, you could send that test team of yours my way and I can let you know how that bad blade does :D;)

this knife (set above a 30" ang khola), which was originall an 18" chiruwa ang khola,

became this knife (after the scales sheared)

next to a b11 and a kz2

and next to a nmfbm

The ttkz is a more substantial knife than most chiruwa ang khola's. Though the CAK's are full tang and MUCH thicker than the ttkz, the ttkz more metal per square inch in the handle (maintains thickness) and heavier handle material. 1/2" vs. 1/4" thick may seem like there's no comparison (the 1/2" being the brute force heavier knife) but that isn't always so. The ttkz has a more neutral balance than most CAK's while maintaining the same weight. You can save some of your forearm muscles by using more of your shoulders without having to swing the extra weight up with your forearm.

That was exactly what I was looking for. Though I was going to trade for it anyway Josh. :)
