Well I picked up my new Leatherman TTI Charge with the S30v steel main blade, hoping it could hold an edge.

Well, I gave it the cardboard test, and I lost count after 220 slices........I'm guessing it was 250 cuts or so after it was all said and done.

The results........

I'm actually blown away. Factory edge.....and after over 220 slices through cardboard........it's still literally hair popping sharp.

In fact.......by feeling the edge, I can't tell a difference from the way it felt after taking it out of the package to how it feels now. Pleasantly suprised.

Nice! I sold a Charge TTI now have the Charge ALX with 154CM. Great multi tools for sure.

I used My TTI for a whole year, before it needed a resharpening!
I'm most impressed by the heat-treatment Leatherman does on their CPM S30V.

You shouldn't be disappointed. I've been carrying it daily now since I got it. I really enjoy it.

May I ask, how long did it take to resharpen the blade?

I've not had to sharpen it.

Btw.......been using it several times a week to cut cardboard and it's still razor sharp. Very impressed.
