Took them both into the woods today and decided to use them both to make an Apache throwing star.

I found this gnarly bit of dead Arrow wood and thought it would be a good test for the knives...

Incase you have never used this wood let me just say it is a PITA the shape, used by the first nations people for Arrow shafts etc it is damn hard stuff !

Both knives appeared very close in performance, when my hand started to get uncomfy using one I'd switch to the other knife and think ' yeah this is better ' but then my hand would start to get sore from that one also so they were both very even !

I used the Koyote knife to batton some of the larger knots off and this was no problem for this blade, if anyone wonders if Koyote knives are tough, take it from me they are !!!!

I did find that the TTSK offered me a little more versatility in my grips and so if my hand became uncomfy in one position I could easily change it slightly.
I do still like the handle on the Koyote though and feel that if it was just slightly larger it would be close to perfect and I'm only talking maybe 1/2".....yeah, yeah I know I'm picky with my handles !!!!

When I'm using naturally found cordage I use small Cedar roots for these but today I cheated and used some Jute....

I found a rotted out stump and this was my first throw( and NO the dogs weren't stood there when I threw it )...

Both knives are great knives but are still not as good as my Koster Nessie and ML Kephart when it comes to this type of work but then I designed my TTSK to be an all rounder and not just a woodcrafting knife !

A few more pics,
