Hey HOGs, I dont know about you guys and gals but in my opinion I think the way Busse does the tube fasteners has a huge effect on the looks of the handles.

I love the way the tubes look on the sand storm hammer opposed to the tubes on the tequilla hammer.

What do you guys think about this? Does it matter to you?

I really like the tubes. No brass tubes for me though.
NICE Lee!

I think the TS tubes are good being smaller because it doesnt take away from the bright color burst in the pattern and also allows the sub surface layers to be seen which kind of hides the tubes to the eye. I'm surprised the TS isn't sporting brass tubes.
The Sand Storm tubes kind of blend in with the colors and seem ok being larger in the flare.
Just my opinion.

Eh, honestly I don't feel strongly either way.

Although the newer ones do look like a crowned 1911 barrel.

I like the wide flares too, Doby.

wide flared look better. It seems that there are some cleaner flaring jobs on wide and more narrow. Just plain shiner. I wonder how long it takes for the flaring dies to begin to get roughed up.

Come on HOGs, lets hear some more opinions on this.

How do you like your tube fasteners and why??

I like slotted bolts.... ;)

No, but I like these nice new flared tubes a lot. They really bring the fit/finish up a notch.

I like the brass ones...nickel is fine if it gets blasted, otherwise it looks like :barf:.

On another note, I prefer the tubes that were cut long enough to flare out about half way up the countersink in the scale:thumbup:
