here's how I keep my empty boxes and tubes
tubes are complete, I own all those GEC's, boxes are only recent ones as when I moves home I threw all away, will always keep the tubes

there is also a printed GEC label, printed out from the pic of their poster, A4 format
it's next to the shelves

MAD huh? :D

Given the different graphics they use and that they can stand on end, those tubes have just as much value for a display like that as they do for storage. Kinda like old oil or soda cans.

Good stuff.

friends often ask me what they are LOL "knife tubes" I say YEAH! and they "hmmm" LOL

I used to have a shelf like that, then it got too full, and I put the tubes in a shoebox. The shelf has been filling up again, though.

I NEED a shelf like that. Mine are stored in zip lock bags in a closet. :grumpy:

My knives are in display cases and the boxes and tubes are in shoe boxes. I don't plan to sell very many of them,
but I keep EVERYTHING I get with each knife, just for reference and future owners (descendants).

I can't keep and don't want to keep everything, most knives are users and I don't need boxes then
I collect/store them in a wooden box for the fixed ones and spyderpacs on the wall for the folders

in case I think I may resell one then I keep the box but 50% are re-sold without box
