Everyone I know can't handle the forward curve of my Boomerang. I wish I had one of these just to make heads explode. Superb.

I've got a 15" Boomerang by Sher too. It's such an under-rated khuk. Handles great and chops like a beast. This one, though, is a MONSTER.

That is... wicked. I love it.

I don't ever want one of my limb to meet one of these.

Man that thing looks so much scarier than it did on paper. Murali did a great job.
I was hoping the curve would be more even, a perfectly semi-circular shape, but this is good too. This has, perhaps, better penetrative capabilities. I think she could chop, stab or sweep equally well and with a lot of power.
Being two handed, the weight ought to be a non-issue.
I am so honored to see one of my designs made flesh. Thank you, Yangdu !

I'm not sure how I feel about this one. It looks cool, but I wonder how it handles...

Congratulations Danny!  That is just one lovely khukuri no two ways about it!

It sorta reminds me of what John Powell used to call a, "Hanshee." IIRC. I'm thinking that when Spiral went to Nepal he learned that the proper name for such a khukuri was, Lhambhend or such, I know I've butchered its spelling! :o   ;)
The main thing that I think may keep this one from being so designated is its excessive weight. IIRC the real Hanshee's (Lhambhend's- sic) were really light for their size!  :D

.

Great job Danny!! Hopefully this won't be a one-off... but other forumites will be able to acquire one in the future???? This would be perfect for zombies, et. al. :D

Doh!! I just now saw the price tag in Yangdu's post. Duh... hmm, I'm thinking a Christmas present maybe??? I must show this thread to my girlfriend :)

Hi Aunt Yangdu! Are these traditionally used as weapons or tools? And what advantages does this type of curvature offer? Would love to see a video of this blade in action. :)
