Love that bonecutters are showing up! My Sgt Khadka bonecutter is hands down my favorite khukuri. But it seems that these new versions are lacking the oversized pommel flare. The oversized pommel is a big reason why my bonecutter is my favorite. It's so comfortable to handle because there's more contact to the bottom of your hand so you don't get a hotspot from concentrated friction.

I Like that Bonecutter, but I'll just swim by and wait for something I actually need...:)

Thanks Dino in Reno! Saved me 60 bucks and probably a beating from the wife although I was thinking of her. Shes jealous and wants her own real knife.

Give us your thoughts when you get it.

Oh...all right, ems sent on Bonecutter, here's hoping it's still available.

Resistance is futile cul4u01. Didn't see any other notes, probably your lucky day.

great buys ! and yeah i will eternally hunt for an old bonecutter by the sgt for sale (one from whenever they came out)

Oh boy, can't wait for the trangle box to come in the mail! The bonecutter is mine! Still on the lookout for a SGT Bonecutter, but I figure you can't go wrong with a Rajkumar Bonecutter either! Thank you, thank you, I didn't get sharked on this one...lol

Chicken salad: If you really want it, you may have it, I can always wait for another. Besides, like Bawanna says, it'll save my hide for another purchase...lol :)

We got a bunch of good people here. Anybody else notice that. Offering up a fine knife so another member don't have to wait. I got offered the Kumar Karda from a couple days ago. Very nice gesture which I declined but it was still a nice gesture and worth noting.
Not sure I qualify as a shark but perhaps more like a dog fish.

Actually looking again it was the Kumar Karda in this very thread. Dino in Reno offered it up. Thanks again Dino in Reno.
If my wife likes it I might try for the one on todays DOD.

Thanks Bawanna...there is nothing I need right now, and besides, making someone happy, makes me happy as well. So, it's always a nice gesture to give when the need calls for it.

Don't get me wrong, if I really want something, and it's rare, and I sharked it, guess what, chomp, chomp, it's mine...lol...:)

I'll probably shark a Karda later, probably really go hunting for it in September/October, after my vacation.

Haha I really appreciate the offer, but I only have around $100 right now and as much as I would like to have a bonecutter as my first kukri, I will probably have to get something else unless another bonecutter without sheath deal comes along.

That bonecutter without the sheath for a 100 bucks was a steal. One lucky fellow there.
I hate myself for not scooping that one. It was a beauty.
A bonecutter would be a heck of a first khuk, for sure.

That Bonecutter is spectacular.
