OOOO!! My deal of the day fix. I feel better now, been waiting anxiously.

My mommy says I can't play but I enjoys watching and another fine farm knife. Whoop, whoop! Me wants.

I figured every self respecting down under man would have to have a Farm Knife. Not so?

There's more than a few of us lingering around waiting for a dui or a yek. That will be a frenzy that will live in infamy.

Another farm knife, look at that deal for a m43. Yuvraj makes a superb blade.

Yeah I know bawanna, it's screaming at me to buy it haha but I really don't have the funds for it right now :o ugh it is a real beauty though....

Yeah I've been hawking the forum like mad waiting for a dui chirra, I have to be there the moment it pops up then this great white will bite. Hard.

When it does come out, and you miss it, just send Auntie an email anyway, she'll probably have another one.

So I feel like Im missing a thing here, why the extra dui chirra love?

Well, I'm in love with it. I "think" it's the knife that will fill the void I "think" is in my collection. In my mind when I think of a perfect khuk the dui chirra pops in and shakes it's cute little bum in my face lol or curve spine, bar the Fullers is pretty much the same. I'll prolly get both at this rate... :)

It's really a love at first sight thing. I can't wait to hold one of my own one day.

bawanna loves his curved spine very very much too. I'm following Bookies lead and giving the handle some major major love too.

I'll have to remember to post a picture.

I agree with Cul... The Dui Chirra has quickly become my favorite khuk. I just feels "right" when you hold it, I am not sure if its the curved handle or its light weight and perfect balance. It is the perfect kukri IMHO.

Not all Dui Chirras are similar - Thamar Bahadur created these very light Dui/Tin chirra models in the classic style, and they are very light and fast (the one I got from the 10/22 deals, sold as a "Tin Chirra", is 17.5 inches and weighs 20.9 ounces). But I have another Dui Chirra by Kumar from the 7/13 deals that is very different. It is 21" and 40 ounces, so it's much more massive, but it also came with 6 deer-antler handled tools, and I just couldn't resist.

Wow, ain't that sweet. The deer antler handled tools are worth the price of admission on that deal.

I must of completely been in a coma that day, don't recollect that one at all.

Good for you.
