I have a Mendowood custom cane with a lignum vitae head. Hard as a rock and smooth as glass. One lucky shark will get an absolute gem.
 
Very nice grain on the handle! And the blade shape isn't bad either, somewhat like a pointy-tip GRS or BC.
I wouldn't mind a smaller, lighter one of these, in the 16.5" range and 24-27oz, and with a somewhat longer handle too.

Beautiful handle. I heard about LV for a while but until now I can see how it turns out in final finishing.

I'm not the man I used to be and a three pound Smasher seems like it would be too much for my wimpy little arms. This one looked like the best one I've seen. The Lignum Vitae should last as long as the blade.

The Samsher arrived and it is a beauty. It is big. I have some big khuks but this is the biggest. Surprisingly, it is very well balanced. It feels good. Can't wait to get out with it.
