Holy Moly!

That's such a nice handle. Notice the bolster-free construction. it makes the full tang a lot more tougher!
 
This should've been snapped up by now...? I'd be more than happy to give this beauty a good home, if I had any money left in my knife budget.

Yangdu, is the swedge sharpened?

Look closely at the pictures again. You will see a traditional style bolster thats color matches the handle quite nicely.

I'm not so sure Heber. It almost looks like the handle wood was carved to follow the lines of a traditional bolster. It seems like some flicks of color in the bolster area match the wood. Either way, it was an awesome job and looks really good.

My computer was taken out for a day or so by a new and nasty virus, and I retirned to this wild array of unusual khuks! The kamis are kickin' some backside, as is Joekido:D. I think Joe has a long lost brother named Hienlien. Hienlien amassed 32 khuks (IIRC) in about a month and a half. He was the only person I've ever seen sweep 4+ khuk DOTDs with a single email, and I believe it was on several occasions! Joe, we need some family photos of the collection. Take care all. Other than recurring energy issues, these seem like good times for BirGhorka and HI.
 
On the UF the bolster is actually carved from the handle, I have one and they are beasts.
 
wow that thing is beautiful. I been off the radar super busy with my new job. I need to start dropping by alot more often
