Wow, what a treat...thank you Westfork for the kind donation of these fabulous knives. That WWII looks like a dream...and the Seax - sharp!

Thank you Westfork!

The SEAX looks so nice!

The old Kumar R knife is coming to live with me and my Tritha BAS now. I'm sure they will get along great.

This is great. With the costs already being previously paid for these knives, including materials and transit from Nepal, the selling prices are now pure benefit for the Kamis and their families. I applaud this gesture by Westfork.

I hope it helps out the Kamis and their families a lot. They deserve it. Life in Nepal is a lot harder than life here in the USA I'm guessing. Never been to Nepal.

I hope it helps out the Kamis and their families a lot...

It will! Last fall there was a post listing the salaries of hospital doctors in Nepal being the equivalent of $275 to $350 per month. A lot can be done with the money from these knives.

That's very kind of you westfork !!
This will be my first khukhuri and to be able to both acquire such fine craftsmanship and help out the kami and his family
is terrific ...
I can not wait to receive my first khuk !!
Thank you

$275 per "MONTH"? Wow, that's not much at all. I suppose you would have to farm also just to survive. Makes me want to help them as much as I can.

What a gorgeous knife!

Seax is still looking for a good home,

I got the "R-knife" But which number is it? I mean: R-1 R-2 R-3 R-4? Anybody help me out here? Wanted to look at some uses for it, but wanted to specifically to know what "R" it is. Looks like a good belt knife for when my BAS might draw too much attention.

It's an R-4 knife. The "R" stands for former shop mangager and designer raju or rajesh (i cant remember)
