Tuf-Cloth on coated blade? (ZT/BM)

If this is the wrong area please move mods. I have several coated blades that I use at work (police officer). When I get home at night I notice there is condensation on the blade every once and a while. The knives I notice it on the most are my zt 300 and auto adamas.

Both are coated blades, I believe the ZT is DLC coated and the BM is BK coated. My question is, is the coating enough to protect the blade from moisture or should I be wiping it down with something extra like a tuf-cloth? I have and use a tuf-cloth on my non coated blades and like it well enough, just wasn't sure if it would have any benefit on the coated blades. Thanks in advance!

The coated parts should be fine. but you may want to wipe the edges with the tuf cloth for piece of mind. D2 is semi stainless and and S30V is a powdered stainless. So both should be fine without any added protection.

Putting too much could give the coating a "white-ish" haze on the black. So wipe, wait a second then remove excess with a clean towel.
