Well, I have finally gotten my FRN Endura back from my friends couch, where it tends to reside. After about three hours on my Lansky I had it slicing like a pro.
I have a question about the temper which I ruined while grinding out the 1/8 in. of tip I busted off of it. Does the damage to the temper extend beyond the discoloration? I've almost got it all ground out of the tip, the serrations are a lost cause I'm afraid....
Again, this little knife has been through hell and deserves some good TLC now that I have my Police to EDC about the place
So I gave it a good shot of Tuf-Glide... and my god, it's so sliK I can flip it out w/ no effort, don't even need to use my thumb anymore. It really seems like the Tuf-Glide worked a lot better on my beat up, old, flicked open a hundred million times folder then my new one. I suppose the tolerances have loosened up quite a bit on the Endura, and probably werent on par w/ the police to begin with and that is leaving more of the lubricant to do it's stuff.... But I thought Tuf-Glide was supposed to absorb into the metal?
