When you apply this to a knife how long should it take before it will "work in"?

I put it on a few knives at the pivot and now they seem harder to open, not easier...what gives?

I will also experience that initially. What I do is take the blade and just work it closed and open several times and this will help getit in there. This product will dry overnight and in the morning my knives are slick as can be.

pretty much immediately. when I apply it to the pivot areas I usually work it a few times and wipe off any excess. when I apply it to the blades (coat blades, ect.) I usually let it sit for about 15 minutes or so in my laundry room. The reason I do this in there it drys quickly because of the warm temperature. Ive been using it now for a few years (?) and it works really good!!!
