This forum is more or less a BS session on anything that has to do with knives, but doesn't fit precisely into any of the more specific forum orientations. It is, without a doubt the best forum to read/watch to gain as much info about knives in general, in as short a time as possible.
Having said that, the search feature is extremely valuable, as are the FAQs. I would check out both features, were I you. You can search by user name, topic, dates, and -- which is very important -- by the correct archive(s). This forum keeps growing rapidly, and more and more frequently this forum needs to be archived. But, put in a subject, perhaps restrict the search to one forum, fix the time frame, and find all sorts of interesting reading.
Should you be asking future questions, always try to be as specific as possible about the circumstances surrounding the question(s) you ask. For instance, what is the best tactical knife will get you a basket full of opinoins, none of which may be apropros for you, because of idiosyncratic features of the situation in which you find yourself.
