Tuff-glide bad for Zytel?

Welcome to the forums! I've used Tuf-glide on my Delica and Endura models and it has no effect on Zytel or any other synthetic handle material. You have nothing to worry about.

Thanks for the tip.
Love the stuff, I'm just paranoid about my knives, who knows what's in that stuff (tuf-glide) anyway?

I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you.

No, I mean what's in it beside the mineral spirits, mineral spirits are the carier for whatever Tuf-Glide is.

If the boys at Sentry told you that, then we' d all make our own, no?

Adding extra mineral spirits to "rewet" the cloth works minimally in my experience. Better to reactivate with some Tuff Glide. (That' s part of the answer
