Hello,

I've looked around the web a bit and can't seem to get a definitive answer as to what is being carried in the mineral spirits.

It's not molybdenum disulfide or graphite apparently.

I know it's proprietary, just thought I'd ask.

They do not even provide a Material Safety Data Sheet. Makes you wonder how they can get away with that.

Link to the MSDS (and a quoted section below that, on potentially hazardous ingredients):

http://www.brownells.com/userdocs/M...Z. PEN PRECISION APPLICATOR - 854_default.pdf

"2. Composition/Information on Ingredients
OSHA Regulated Ingredients: Solvent Naphtha(Petroleum), Medium Aliphatic, CAS# 64742-88-7; 88%
Proprietary Materials: 12% Neutralized, oxygenated hydrocarbon"

MSDS won't necessarily show other ingredients that aren't classified as hazardous (ingestion, inhalation, skin contact, fire, etc). Manufacturers aren't required to list them, in that case.
