This stuff is a trip!!!!

I bought some and used it. Well its nothing like blue-lube. I have a Hogue EX01 that got basically submerged. I cleaned it up, bathed it in WD40 and dried it all off. Well it wouldnt flick open at all. I used the Tuff Glide, and it really didnt seem to do any good.....for about an hour. Then honestlt it is better than it was before on blue lube.

My question is why is blue lube almost instant while Tuuf glide needs time and work?

There is not one Sentry Soutions product that I don't find fantastic. I make up a gun cleaning kits as gifts from all of their products and feel sure I'm giving the best. Combined with a cheaper than dirt bag makes a wonderful cleaning kit.

I use the Pro-Shot stainless steel rods with the brsss handles along with the bore fittings. As for bore cleaning product I use Blue Wonder and KG Bore Polish. No such thing as a better cleaning system. Tuff Glide is as good as it gets. I use the KG Moly powder too. All of this stuff is great for your treasured knives too.

Tuffcloth does it's job as good as it can be done.

The thing about Tuff-Glide is that it's actually a dry lubricant suspended in a delivery agent. It takes about a minimum of an hour for it to properly dry out, which could explain the weird results you're getting.

I personally generally use a grease for most of my knives, and I use Tuff-Grease (I think?) from them, works great. I use Tuff-Glide mostly as a protectant, it works well on knives with polished well fit bushings though.
