Have several small knives, but when it comes to ergonomics, no other small knife compares to the tuff lite.. Fits like a glove. The triad lock came a bit stiff, but this must be the best knife for $25 you can buy - unbelievable value.

Cudos to Coldsteel's designers.
Will buy more.

Heck, I'll cheerfully pay the premium for an XHP Tuff Lite, though I don't see it happening. It's the smallest knife that I've found that I can still comfortably make difficult cuts with. That, combined with the blade shape, low weight and small size make it an absolutely ideal office EDC.

I think it's perfect as is. I'd rather not pay $25-30 more for a steel upgrade. Plus the Tuff Lite was the only knife I have resharpened myself that I could get back to a hair splitting edge. I don't think I'd be able to do that with another steel.

More people should have a Tuff Lite in their pocket.

I touched up the edge of my serrated Tuff Lite with the Lansky stick ( little brush on the back side on a 3000 ruby stone to take off the burr) and it's hair shaving sharp again. They really are a brilliant little knife.

I love the Tuff Lite. The design is great. Mr. L.T. scored a home run with this design. I came to the conclusion that this knife is screaming for a steel upgrade because the design is really that good. VG-10, XHP, S30V, or M4
