The Cold Steel Tuff Lite.

When I showed my son, he said, "You finally got a normal pocket knife".

I wasn't sure what to make of that, as this Cold Steel has a unique look.

But when I think more about it, I realize that this is a great design for a folder.

I carry one in my left pocket pretty much everyday. It's that knife that gets tape schmootz all over it, cuts up cardboard, whittles the pencil, cuts the straps or bailing twine, digs out thorns from boots, etc. etc. etc.

A quick shot of PB Blaster, then hot soapy water bath, followed by a drop of pivot oil, cleans it up.

A few passes on green compound puts the AUS-8A back into the sharp zone, and it's ready for the next day.

I love these things.E1F6B10C-1868-441A-B94E-54162B2D564E.jpegD27D33AF-F2E3-4F0F-903D-1E6B3687593E.jpeg2332C070-704A-4F43-AA84-0FB065D6A800.jpeg

And for all you lefties. You will need to hit the hole with a dremel. As one side isn't really smothed out.

Now that you mention it I can see what you mean, I haven't really noticed it.

I imagine a couple of swipes with a small honing rod should knock that shoulder down a bit.

I am a leftie and almost gave up on the knife. But five minutes on a dremel and it has come good.

Use mine more than my disposable blade box cutters, for small repair projects .

Recently cut out a pleather patch to rescue my ole lounge chair . Pics in reverse order of events .
