Anyone planning on going to the Tulsa Gun show in October? This will be my first trip there, but it's supposed to have a ton o' knives.

I went last year, and this past spring. I intend to make it this next month as well. It is primarily a Gun show, but with the shear number of tables, there ends up being a lot of knives. It just takes a bit of weaving and wandering to find them all. There are usually several custom makers, but not near as high on the recognizability scale as shows like Blade, SHOT show, etc. I talked to Bob Dozier, David Dill, and Mike "Whiskers" Allen at the last one. Most knife dealers are ready to bargain with you, and I've picked up some good trades there. You also need to check out the home-packed meat products some people offer. I found a great HOT sausage sold by the lb.

I'm sure there'll be several BFC members going. They usually set up a meeting time fairly early in the day at the front entrance, and I can never get there on time.

Definitely try to go, if you get a chance. Not being able to travel much, this is the largest show I can get to. Someday I'll make it to Blade, but the Tulsa Arms show will have to do until then.

We will be attending the show this year with 2 tables on the south (upper) end. Look for the large banner against the wall. I invite all BFC members to stop by and say hello! We will talk some knives and tell some lies!!
See you there.

We've had a table at the spring show for the last 4 years. I'm going down to the fall show for the first time this year.

Still haven't made final decision on whether I'm going. Will sit down with bank stuff Friday and see where I am money wise.

If so though, should be there by 10 hopefully on Saturday.

I will be there with a co-worker sunday. If anyone wants to hook up, email me and Ill give you my cell number.

We will all be there. Linda, Wendy Dan and myself. Stop by and talk about knives and the making of knives. We have a few good knives and some folders.

Picked up a Surefire E2e HA for $70 :D

Didn't have as many knives as I was looking for but some really nice looking stuff. Couldn't find anyone that was willing to do a trade for my Strider SLCC :(
