I went last year, and this past spring. I intend to make it this next month as well. It is primarily a Gun show, but with the shear number of tables, there ends up being a lot of knives. It just takes a bit of weaving and wandering to find them all. There are usually several custom makers, but not near as high on the recognizability scale as shows like Blade, SHOT show, etc. I talked to Bob Dozier, David Dill, and Mike "Whiskers" Allen at the last one. Most knife dealers are ready to bargain with you, and I've picked up some good trades there. You also need to check out the home-packed meat products some people offer. I found a great HOT sausage sold by the lb.
I'm sure there'll be several BFC members going. They usually set up a meeting time fairly early in the day at the front entrance, and I can never get there on time.
Definitely try to go, if you get a chance. Not being able to travel much, this is the largest show I can get to. Someday I'll make it to Blade, but the Tulsa Arms show will have to do until then.
