Tumbled or Polished Blade preferred?

Just wondering what y'all prefer, the tumbled or polished hollow grind blade look?
My large, small and umfaan are all polished however, I just sent my small classic in to CRK to have it tumbled. I figured it would resist scratches, food etc. better and make me want to use it more for any old thing. I still baby them too much. Gotta get over what I paid for 'em and lay into them.

I like the stonewash finish. It's actually full of scratches to begin with, so you won't "see" any scratch marks w/use. I carry and use a small Sebenze and just today I decided to see how long the edge would hold. I put many (a few hundred) cuts/shavings on a fallen branch with no visible scratch marks on the blade. I did have to "touch up" the blade with my Spyderco 204 to get it back to razor sharpness. If the blade were satin or bead blast it would have visible scratches.

I love this knife and will have it forever!

Most of the scratches on my small Sebenza are not easy to see unless you examine the blade while turning it in the light.
I like the stonewash finish, personally. Think it goes well with the gray handles.

Tough call. I just got a new polished large and it does look impressive. I'm considering sending in my small to have it polished (needs refurb anyway). I prefer the polished.

I was just at an NKCA show yesterday and traded in my Large plain with a stone washed blade for a CGG Aztech model with a polished hollow grind.

I must say that this was the first Sebenza with the polished grind I really looked at and I like it. It does show up the finger prints more. But on a decorated model I think it goes better with the polish on the handle, more of a finished look to it.

I ended up with the best of both worlds. I started with a stonewashed (tumbled?) blade. As part of the maintenance on all my knives I use Flitz on the blades so they ended up looking polished. I have carried my Sebenza daily for 4 years and it still looks great. On my knives that I don't use daily I flitz them and then use a tuf cloth on them. Good stuff.

Flitz is awesome.
