The mailman just dropped this off a couple of hours ago...

It's a Tuna Valley Cigar stockman in Brazilian Cherry wood. I have wanted this knife for the last 6 months or so and it lives up to what I had hoped.

I've been collecting stockmans for about two years now and this is my first cattle style. I like bigger, heavier knives so this suits me perfectly. It's actually made by GEC but it's made to the specifications of Mr. Perry Miller, President of Tuna Valley Cutlery Co. I love that it has GEC's 440c steel and the chosen blades are perfect; wharncliffe, Turkish clip, sheepsfoot, and a spey. All in all this is a very useful combination, in my opinion. They make them in jigged redbone too. This knife gets a big thumbs up from me.

What a beauty! I really like the blade combination. Slanted ...fluted and pinched...yea baby

Very nice, Stelth! I was eyeballing those several months ago but just never pulled the trigger.
Wish I would have. One really can't ask for a better blade selection than that.

Nice grab!

Great pattern. Like a Furtaker Muskrat and Cuban Stockman all rolled up into one. Here's the bone and burnt stag versions.

All 3 are great looking. Never heard of Tuna Valley cut. before though , but now I think I have to check their knives:)

Only reason I had heard of them is because one was for sale on collectorknives, and it already sold. Looked like a great pattern!

Very nice. Had seen these sometime ago but didn't know they were now available with wood scales. Looks great. Unless I'm mistaken that's the 1st time GEC has offered Braz cherry without jigging.

Sweet knife. I wish GEC would produce more 440C blades.

I tried to call Perry to see how many "Cigar" pattern knives he had left, each the Red Bone and Cherry wood. But I could not get hold of him.

I have a Cigar pattern in stag, as well as one of the first edition Trapper patterns in stag. For me, they are well made knives and are good value.
