Some of the Tuna Valley are GEC made.

2007 through mid 2012 were made by GEC, after mid 2012 to present are made by Queen Cutlery.

I have a dozen GEC's and only 1 Tuna Valley. All of the GEC are made as good or better than the Tuna Valley but at a lower cost . The Tuna Valley may have a better grade steel in the blade , but at my age , I could never wear out a knife blade that gets very easy use.
