I see in the newest Dec 2018 issue of Knife Magazine that Courtney and Ryan D. still have the rights to the Tuna Valley name, and plan to continue to have new releases. I'm excited to see what they come out with for 2019. Their new site shows images of all the previous releases.

That's interesting. I wonder who will make the knives for them. Would you mind sending me a link to their new site by PM? Thanks.

Not sure who is the maker for the Tuna's. All Ryan said was that it was a US located small sized maker who has enough capability to do 50 piece runs.

I wonder if the folks who are doing the Canal Street Cutlery revival have also picked up another line of small run orders?

I've had that thought, too, especially given the prior history between Queen and Canal Street.

At any rate, I hope they continue to do the Tuna Valley thing of interesting, somewhat unique patterns in cool handle slabs.

Isn't Canal Street supposed to be a half-dozen guys making a half-dozen knives a week? I'm sure they could do additional 50-piece runs, but we might all be dead before they finished one.:D

Maybe Utica.
