Hi Steve,
Gull Wing kindly made me an orange G-10 slab to fit a Boker Trance, so I had to get one! That liner lock needs to be tuned though. Please give me your addy and I'll send er down,if you want to do it. Let me know. Thanks Steve!

OK, Steve. I'll drop a note in the box and off the Trance goes! Thanks Steve!

Hi Steve!
The Trance is in the mail. Also, what do you charge for a low-rider clip for an HD-7 and will that style of clip work with the Wave? Thank you, Steve. Glad you're around!

Personally I don't like low riders with Waved folders but many guys use them.

All my low riders are the same price. $30 plus shipping.

Thanks

Steve---I'm take'n yer advice>no low-rider clip for the Emerson Wave. Thanks for the advice.

I think thats a good choice. Low riders set the knife so deep its hard to get a good purchase on the handle to make the Wave operate as good as it does with a standard style clip. At least thats how it is for me.

I've had several Bokers here including my own Turbin that all had one thing in common. The locks are sprung but not enough to make them self adjust. Its something I've done myself now and then by accident but I see it more in Boker, followed by Kershaw after that than any other companies. Emersons by comparison are over sprung if anything to the point that they'd snap clear across the tang and to the other side scale easily if the blade was not there to stop them. This of course can be why EKI locks can stick at times but personally I'd rather have one stick some than to not move in farther to self adjust as it wears from use.

In this regard Emerson and Buck seem to win for springy locks. Spydercos rarely have any problem self adjusting either from what I've seen.

That's interesting, Steve. Give me the low-down on the Trance when you get it. Thanks>

How ya do'n down there, Steve? You guys take'er easy. The knives can wait. I don't have to tell you this but the Trance I sent ya is a frame-lock, not a liner-lock! DUH, on me. OK. Out for now.

I have not recieved it yet. I may be here but its winter here and the town is basically at a stand still due to the ice. I didn't even get mail today. Not yet anyway.

Hey,Steve. I'm in no hurry. Never was. Just be careful with all that ice! You get a hold of me whenever. Thanks Steve.
