Tuning Kershaw blur

I have a 1670BK, just a standard Blur and I love it! The only problem is the assisted opening feels a bit weak sometimes. I have seen similar complaints in the past about slow and weak lock up and I saw one solution was to simply deactivate the speed safe mechanism and use it without. I don't really want to go that far with it since it isn't a major problem so, does anyone have a recommendation on tuning the speed safe for a better lockup? Thank you!

The lockup and the speedsafe don't effect each other. If you want the speedsafe to work better then loosen the pivot, it may get blade play tho, depending how loose you make it. I removed the speedsafe on mine and it is soooooooo smooth. The lock on mine wouldn't engage very well so I tried sanding the tang of the blade with some sand paper so the lock bar would rest over farther. That didn't work, so I sanded the lockbar face and got the lockup later. No issues now. It is the smoothest knife I have ever had (smoother then my Para2 and my Griptilian)
