Well here goes post #1000!

On Thanksgiving Day I will be giving away a David Farmer EDC with Carbon Fiber scales(I know how you Hortonites like carbon fiber). The blade is about 3" long 3/32" thick O1 steel. It comes with the original leather pouch sheath. This is a great little knife that I couldn't bring myself to use. It is razor sharp!

Now for the rules:
This giveaway is open to those who post in Horton's Club Platinum, even if not on a regular basis.
You can post once per day until noon on Thanksgiving day.
The winner will be chosen by the Thanksgiving day Tennessee pick 3 lotto(since Jeremy trusts it so much). If that doesn't yield a winner, we will go to a random number generator.

Now for the theme
It is that time of year, so each post should contain one thing that you are thankful for. As much as I like to screw around, let's keep this serious(Gravelface) so we don't lose sight of what's important.

UPDATE
we didn't get a winner from the tennessee pick three, so using a random number generator the winner is..............#60. congrats maino
Jeremy has turned the prize down and a second winner was selected using the same random number generator.......#15. congrats

I am thankful that, despite its short comings, I am a citizen of this great country.
And, that we have great neighbors.....up north... like Pauli.

my one and only post, and if i win we will pick a new winner the following day. i just thought that if you guys are put on the spot, then i should lead by example. I only get one post to accomplish what you guys have a month to do, so bear with me.

I'm thankful for my wife, friends, family, God, country, and all the little things that bring a smile to my face and put a twinkle in my eye(not necessarily in that order). It's easy to get overrun with the hustle and bustle of daily life and forget to take time to appreciate the effort that goes into this thing called life. Things don't just happen and I think that we regularly take things for granted that could easily be gone in an instant. Our wives don't have to put up with us. Our friends don't have to have our backs. Our country doesn't have to shelter and protect us, yet these things happen. So this is a little exercise in appreciation to remind us that the things that we appreciate take effort to maintain. Never forget.

I am thankful for all the people that have sacrificed their lives so I can live in a free nation.
