Hi Everyone,

Here are some pics of a recently completed hunter, specs are as follows....


1075 4" edge quenched blade.

Dark Royal Walnut handle with Ebony throat and nickel silver spacers and hammer peend pin.

Bleach boiled Mustard and Cold Blue paste Wrought Iron Wagon Wheel Guard....recovered from a swamp.

O.A.L. is 9 5/8"

beautiful. the rich color of the handle and guard contrasted with the silver and ebony is very eye catching. great work.
 
Very nice. Only thin that would improve it, in my opinion, is if you made the guard a bit slimmer. Looks a bit too chunky to me. Otherwise looks great.

I'm experimenting with different guard designs Darcy. It's likely you'll see a different guard shape on my next piece.

Bobby, it's clear you are developing your own style, and it reminds me of some of the old time makers. Very classic, and very well done. Youv'e certainly come a long way. Looking good!
