Hello everyone
I just finished this one.
I started it a long time ago but last week I got full into it.
It was commissioned, the idea was to make a Bowie version of my merovingian hunter.
This is what I came up with.

Around 11" blade, turkish damascus 8 bars.
5160 -15n20 steels, phosphatized.
Frame handle, collar and guard have the same steel but with a half "mums" pattern (modified w)
Hope you (and the client) like it.

Sorry for the amount of pictures but I wanted to show every corner of this puppy.

Manuel,

Can't speak for your client, but I love it. The Damascus frame and guard treatment set it off for me.

Holy crap!
I mean, nice work!

That is a knockout.

It must have taken a high combination of skill, and attention to detail to get that patter to follow the curve of the blade so well. An area where a lot of damascus does not score as well in my eyes, is when a pattern does not flow to the tip as well.

Thanks for sharing, and I am sure the customer will be tickled pink!

Outstanding piece of work Manuel. Very well executed and I really like your high contrast damascus.

Another exquisite piece, Manuel. The pattern in the fittings is particularly striking.

Yet another fantastic piece Manuel. Love twisty bars, and that has a few, wow!
Cheers Keith

I took a new set of pictures with another camera, I added them at the beginning. I think they are better at showing small details.

Manuel, your knives are always super classy, and this one's a tuxedo with a dry martini. Shaken, not stirred.
Not sure how I feel about the handle standing so proud of the spacer, but other than that personal opinion, this is one hell of a nicely made knife by any measure.

It's a beauty! It looks amazing and stunning. Like the curve of the blade, cool patterns and the beautiful handle which show outstanding craftsmanship. I'm sure the new owner will be proud and delighted.

I really like it. I wouldn't if it weren't perfectly (near as I can tell, anyway) regular all the way around, but I think it's a great detail.
