hey guys i know there are a few people out there who make this pattern, but i only know of how to get in to one, and i'm too scared to grind into some Jerry Rados Damscus, Not that i have that much cash to but any in the first place.

I know its a pretty involved pattern and can be costly but are there any other makers out there producing it?

Thanks in advance guys i appreciate the help:thumbup:

I think Delbert Ealy has a pattern or three (Vines, and his two thunderstorm patterns seem to be turkish style patterns)

Nice stuff to work with too

I use Jerry's steel all the time and I know EXACTLY what you mean. I told Jerry that one day and he told me " What the HELL are you afraid of! its just a hunk of iron!" It was great advise. Some of the best knives I made were made with Jerry's steel.

Rados damascus grinds like butter and looks absolutly georgous. Its worth every penny.
Good luck with what ever you use. Im sure it will turn out great.:D

Tired of the Portugese damascus, Grasshoppa? :D

Mike,
You can add a premium to the price of your knives based on the materials, espically Jerry's turkish. It's the best turkish around but has to be forged to shape so the pattern flows all the way to the tip.

Check out this blade.

You can buy it through me. I do it as a favor to Jerry. I tell Jerry what you want and he makes it and sends it directly to you. This way he doesnt have to worry about anything other than making the steel

PM me for the info.
