EBay is an endless source of wonder: "This is a classic [:D } bone handled Turkish Ghurka knife . . . and decorated with Turkish coins."

I'm almost starting to look for the history of the Turkish Ghurkas. Sort of like the Lost Tribes.

I don't know how this got started. My Dad believes to this day that the Ghurkas are Turkish. When he first saw one of my khuks he commented on it that way. I explained it was Nepalese and the Ghurkas were too. He never heard me though.

Tom, ebay can be an endless source of wonder, the ones that blow me away are some of the Chinese sword sellers, just amazing!!!

Ah yes! Its the history often provided as provenance behind the weapon that gets me, sort of plagiarized from a heap of other sellers then woven together in some sort of magical mystery tour, just so funny:D
