Here is my latest. A four bar twist of 1084 and 15n20, stabilized afzalia and stainless guard and domed 416 pin. 4.5 blade.
This was made for a client in my real job. Her father passed away from cancer last year. She wanted to give this to one of his close friends for Christmas. I sent her some pics of it all done. She must have liked it, she asked if I could make another one for another friend of her fathers. Luckily I had the other half of the billet left. So I'm making a twin, forged from the some billet. Let me know you think.

The pic of the file work was taken before the handle was on.
Thanks, Cody

Great work Cody, I like it all esp. the Damascus!

Thanks guys, it means a lot to me.

Karl, I'll have to come bother you again after the holidays. Sounds like you've been busy!

Nice Cody.... You are really coming along.

I've started the plans for next year's hammer-in so hope you come out again....

Very nice knife AND you appaear to have a VERY steady hand with the nail polish or Sharpie. I salute you, sir! :D

Thanks for the kind words.

Scott, l'll be there!!

Mark, just ordered some of your awesome handle blocks.

Joe, I find that if I just pool some fingernail polish in and then use a tooth pick to move it around.

I smiled at Kevins comment on my mark. I've been struggling mentally with it. I like it a lot. But have been told
By several people that I need my NAME on my blades. Don't know what I will do. Thanks again, All

Let me know you think.

I think that knife and sheath are quite nice and the recipient should treasure them. Cool Damascus pattern, too!

I am less fond of the maker's mark. I see the "C" and "H" in the design and because I already know that you made it, I get it. I have just seen too many threads here asking if anyone knows who made a knife that their father got from someone fifteen years ago, and the maker stopped making knives and moved on to something else, and it becomes difficult to tell from the fancy logo who the maker was. I just prefer that a maker make sure that at least their last name appears somewhere on the knive. Just my personal opinion. Oh, aand although I think that knife is very nice the way it is, personally (and that is all it is) with that Damascus and wood, I think it would have been even better if it had a blued guard and pin instead of the shiny metal. Again, JMHO.

Anyway, congrats on making such a fine knife that pleased your client so much that she wants another one.

You do some very fine work.....I'd missed this thread but did see that extremely nice Bowie you posted for sale and would like to see more of your knives as they get finished. :)

Thanks for the kind words, encouragement, and honest opinions. I appreciate The Virginians views and understand what he is saying about my mark. That is what vexes me. There isn't to many MS that use something other than there name, but there is that one guy that uses a little fish!!! Doubt I'll ever be known like him though... I have though about having my mark and name put on the cases, if the case stays with the knife, then they have my name.

Thanks again to everyone
Cody
