I picked these two knives up yesterday from Jimmy Chin at a knife show in Taipei.

Both knives are Turkish twist damascus with iron wood handles. I think these two knives make a wonderful pair because they are the same but yet so different. As ever Jimmys work is top shelf. :)

The darker handled knife with the larger damascus pattern belongs to me, the other piece is going to my cousin.

Sorry for the sub par pics......

Those are nice looking. The turkish twist damascus is really striking.

It's great to see more pics of Jimmy's work - he's a super nice guy and a very talented maker. Congrats on that fine pair.

Funny guy when I met him at Blade, thats for sure. Those are impressive knives. Did he forge the steel? Beautiful pattern for sure.

Yea, Jimmy is always a good laugh to be around, I'm pleased to be able to call him a friend.

That steel is forged by him as is all his blade steel, he's making some of the nicest damascus I have seen TBH. His lader and feather damascus are some of my favorites.

Here is a sneaky shot of some of his feather damascus after a quick etch just to show the pattern. I love that stuff.:thumbup:

Though I have only been around Jimmy one time, it didn't take long to become an admirer. Thanks for sharing more of his work.
