Turkish twist damascus and mammoth ivory fighter

Hello everybody!

I just finished another fighter.

Blade:
ZD-0803 Turkish twist damascus from the Zladinox company (Russia). Information on steel composition is available on the Zladinox web site (http://www.zladinox.ru/images/zdi/en/0803.pdf).
Dimensions: 8 2/3" x 1" x 1/8"
Overall length: 14"

Handle:
Mammoth ivory
Sterling silver
14K gold
Blue copper turquoise cabochons

Sheath:
Vegetable tanned tooling leather
Sterling silver
14K gold

Any comments/critique/suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Your engraving is exemplary. I'm very impressed and love your workmanship.

I'm not a fan of turquoise (though many are) and would like it better left out but your skills are outstanding. Overall it's a beautiful piece.

Actually, I used turquoise for this project because these particular cabochons have copper inclusions. I thought they would match gold accents.
 
Gary, I believe (correct me if I'm wrong, Mr. Kolenko) that the fittings are fabricated largely from bought silver patterned wire and strip stock, bent and soldered, not engraved...
 
You have excellent metalsmithing skills, I really love the dagger you did with the knight's helmet finial...
