Turkish "worker knife"

My brother brought this back after a stint in Turkey there a few years ago.
He was working heavy construction and his local colleagues all had carried knives of similar patterns so he picked up this one for his time there and gave it to me when he returned.

The joint has a lot of friction in both the open and closed positions and is floppy in between.

Really cool, I like seeing what folders other cultures use. Seems like outside of the U.S. and U.K. the friction folder is the most common workmans knife.
