Turk's Head Knot for Knife, Please Help....

Hi,

I have this knife.....

And I want to put a turk's head knot on the handle, at the front, then Strider wrap behind it....

First of all, any good tutorials on turk's heads for this application? I saw a video by Stormdrane, but the one he was makeing would cover the whole handle, and I just want a guard kinda shape.

And I was thinking of starting the Strider Wrap right after it, maybe even pin the beginning of the Strider Wrap under the Turk's Head.

What do you think?

Well, I finally got around to doing it....

For practice that is, I put some paracord around a mag-lite.

Worked out pretty good.

Next stop, Schwert's instuctions to make a braided leather baldric.... [kidding]

Maybe someday.
