I saw a CRKT KFF Professional at our min PX today and couldn't pass it up for the price ($50). The only thing I didn't like was they only had 50/50 models. For me, it's either full serration or plainedge. What's a guy to do? I got back to our trailer park (thank you Brown and Root) and pulled out my EZ Lap diamond stone. Now an hour later the serrations are all but gone. I'm thinking of giving it a slight recurve with my diamond pen

Anyways, I thought it worked out much better than I pictured in my head.

I changed a serrated Delica to plain some time ago and it came out fine, in some knives it seems like it wouldn´t work, serrations being too deep, I have a partially serrated Gerber EZ-out that I wish was plain, but I´ll just leave it as is.

I am in the middle of changing my AFCK! No more serrations, no more black coating, and a reground clip to restore the pointy point instead of the rouded over from sharpmaker sharpening point :)

Nice to see ya SS, take care bro.

Avator.

Sorry for interuption, but I design and draw and animate my avator and you just steal it from me. Why? I don't like it at all.
If it is some forum software bug - then sorry. If it is not - change it! This one is mine.
Thanks, Vassili.

Sorry bout that Noz. I actually like that pic so much that I'm getting it tattooed and my fiance is as well. I'll change it for ya. ;)

And no... sorry, didn't get pics. I ended up giving it to an NCO in my platoon who will be driving on the GAC to Kuwait, he didn't have a knife... so.

Oh really! Cool! Did you really tattooe it? I am honored. If so can you give me photo of this tattoo?
OK if everybody like it so much - go ahead use it! Now I feel proud of myself. Somebody really like what I did!
Well, I always may draw something else.

Thanks, Vassili.

I did it to my Benchmade 730 after chipping the plain edge very badly. I used a bench grinder to grind the serrations down even, then used an 80 grit belt by hand to sharpen both sides. It worked pretty well, but the edge was very thick after taking it down so far.

I'd post a pic of the tat, but it is going to be on (correction: above) a spot my BDU bottoms cover. Well, I might be able to post it, depending on how high I get it.

I like it because it reminds me of my fiance, who I always call "kitty". She loves knives. Hence it will be my armed, sleeping but watchful, guard kitty.
