Finally got around to stripping most of the rust off, the makers mark is barely visible and not noticable in the photo. Guess it was a much better find than I thought.

Also pretty sure I'm posting images wrong if so how do I fix it?

After you've uploaded to imgur, click on the image to select it, then click it again and select "copy url to clipboard". Then when back on your post here, click the image icon above(5th from left bottom row) and paste into the bar and click "insert". Then repeat for the rest of your images.
Hope this helps and look forward to seeing it! I couldn't get your link to work on my android.

Yeah definately will but probably not for the next 2 weeks since I'm 16 and dont have the money atm. Cant wait to use it I have my other GBA tassie pattern but it's pretty heavy so I use it mostly for splitting. It will be really good having something a bit lighter for camping or hiking trips away in the Bush but I'm still unsure what size handle I should use also.
There it is! Those Tasmanian pattern axes are so appealing to me. That one looks like it might be in pretty good shape for something issued to the military. Are you planning to hang it and use it?

What's the weight on that one? Seems most that I find on line are in the 4-4.5 pounds (~ 2kg).
I recently found an Elwell tassie I could afford. I am in the process of hanging it. I am not a tall guy and I find 32 inch hafts work best for me. This is my heaviest axe and will probably be used primarily for splitting. It will actually be a little shorter when I am done, coming out around 30 inches I think.

I may be wrong but it seems maybe 3/4ish. I havent been able to weigh it but it feels much lighter than the other. I normally use 32 inch handles also, that's probably what I will end up going with for this one.
