Today I lost the turquoise watch while I was packing Khukuri Knives it was a gift from Uncle Bill so if you happen to find the watch in the box would you kindly return to HI. Thank you all

Let's make sure we go through every inch of our boxes with a fine tooth comb so we can get Yangdu's special watch back to her. I hope you have emailed everyone you have sent boxes to since you lost it Yangdu just in case they don't see this post.

All the best Yangdu!

Janice (Mrs. Westfork)

Was it today that you lost it or could it have been further back? I'll check my sword box when I get to work tomorrow as it was pack two days ago.

She said today... as in Friday (now Saturday here). I'll be at Yankee Stadium on Monday for the last Opening Day at the stadium, so won't be home until late Monday night. I'm going to leave a note for the mailman to hold my package for pick-up on Tuesday, don't want it sitting in the building lobby all day. So I won't actually be able to check it until Tuesday. That is unless priority mail makes it from Yangdu to me in a day, in which case it would be here tomorrow, but that won't happen.

We need to keep this thread alive until Yangdu's watch is found, so anyone, someone post anything just to keep it alive.

Any news on your watch Yangdu?

Janice (Mrs. Westfork)

Guess what? Lost watch is found and I am very happy, thank you all

I accidentally mailed my checkbook once. Never was happier than when the place I mailed the package to said it was in there:thumbup:

Hi Yangdu,

I'm so glad that you've found the watch. Somethings are so important to you that they're priceless and irreplaceable.

Best Regards,
Ted

Whew! Good news indeed. My Dad shipped his steel Rolex Oyster Submariner to Vietnam in 1967 with a load of pallets loaded with baked goods. He just set it down for a second. He often said that some Quartermaster in Saigon was one happy SOB. ;) I'm sure he was pleased to help our fighting men, but as I recall he was still a bit upset...

Glad you found it Yangdu.
