I was frustrated by a hazy - patchy - spotty finish that had developed on one of my satin finished stainless knives. Took a dab of this on a moistened microfibre cloth and did a little rubbing. Worked like a charm - finish looks new.

Has anybody else tried this before? Worked so well I'm tempted to use it on my better knives but wanted to get others opinions before I did.

I can't say that I have but I don't see any good reason why it wouldn't work. Turtle wax is cheap so that leaves more money available to buy more knives. :D

I am going to try that as I have a few that need attention anyway. Thanks for the input. :)

Yeeeoww.. It worked pretty darn good but, I knicked my thumb in the process. Be careful everyone! :o :o :o

I have used it on wood scales but have not tried to use it on metal. Makes sense that it worked though. Just don't know how permanent it will be. Chances are it just filled in the area and would easily be wiped out over time.

I often use a fine auto paint rubbing compound to shine metal, its great and it tends to leave a kind of protective film on it.
