Man - I thought it was about time to bite off more than I can chew:D
This knife is 17" overall and ground from D2.
It will have a satin machine finish and Black G-10

Thought I made goo progress so I am happy. This one had me sweating!!!
The shop was 40 degrees and I wasnt even cold. Guess the nerves were working overtime.

Very nice, I love the size and the shape of that blade. I am sure it'll look great when its done.

I really like the way that one is coming along. I am a little curious why you chose D2 for a blade that size. Not being critical at all, just curious since I have been bashed by friends for my Outcast (made from D2) as being too large for a D2 blade. It has worked just fine for me so far.

Why not?? :D Plus the customer requested D2 so thats what he gets. Should be a fine knife in D2

I know that monster ate a few belts in the grinding. Nice looking blade. Post pics of the finished product if you can.

Brian, like all your creations (including the little one there) it is awesome. Does it come with a neck sheath?

Didnt think I'd ever be able to grind out a knife that looks like this....Thats a big step from the begining huh Mark?

This should give all makers reason to keep grinding. Practice....and more of that:thumbup: The hard part is dealing with burnt hands :) Either your belt is too dull or your grinding to long at one pass :)

WOW:eek: That is one big blade. Looks damn good Brian:thumbup:
