Let's see your ivory scaled knives (traditional patterns only, of course)! Whether elephant, walrus, mammoth, mastodon, or other, show you ivory scales. Here are the two examples that I have, a Northwoods Forest Jack in mammoth, and a Northwoods Madison Barlow in elephant:

The two blade quill knife is C 1825 by Rodgers, the tiny congress is Rodgers, The shoe is also ivory.

Best regards

Beautiful! I edited the original post to include walrus and other sources of ivory.

Thanks Jack, they are all wrecks but I love them.

That is absolutely gorgeous S-K, pure class

I have never purchased ivory of any kind on a knife or gun grip.

I'm a dropper, and chipper of bone and stag! I would be pretty bummed to drop ivory. I think it would be more crack/chip prone than bone.

Stag has been pretty robust in my impromptu drop and impact tests.

I feel the same way about Pearl handles. So pretty, but I'm sure I would crack it.

Tortoise too.
