Seems Tut got buried with all the good stuff. I was looking on Slinging.org and found a replica of a sling that was buried with him, and instructions for copies:D.

I'm taking my kids to the Tut exhibet at the AGO in about three weeks. Hopefully I can get some pics to post here.

Good thing Tut didn't live in my state. Carrying a double edged knife is a felony here. A switchblade is only a third degree misdemeanor.

I wonder how many of our knives will be around 3,000 years from now...

Do you think they will be passing around a Tenacious at a museum?

Beautiful. I saw the Tut exhibit in Philly a few years back--just magnificent. The only thing missing was Tut (which, of course, they don't tell you--he stays in Egypt).

Beautiful knives. It makes you wonder what history those knives have seen and/or participated in. Who have they killed? What food have they sliced up. In which battles were they strapped to him as he led his armies? Speculation, but fun speculation nonetheless.

Fantastic:thumbup:

Well, there you see, knives are a high point in all civilizations.

Yipes. I wonder how good edge retention is on a solid gold blade. Better get that heat-treat right!
