Hello, I am new french and I do not understand English. I loved the transformation of the 112 buck with blade 482. I would like someone to explain to me how to do the same with photos or video please
thank you @ +

Welcome to bladeforums. I believe there is a thread around here that tells how to do so. I'll try and locate it for you.

Hello. The question is not how to put pictures but how to turn a buck 112 with a 482 blade in detail with pictures or video ones
Thank you @+

I found a YouTube video with a verbal description. no video or pictures of the swap.

Haebbie

P.S.: If anybody in the forum has a video ar pictures
he would show it. It seems that there is no one
in the forums who made the swap.

DesertChris and I have both done this conversion. Basically all you need is the 112 and the 482. You will have to grind the pivot pin head off on the 482 to get the blade out. Once that is done, you'll need to push the pivot pin out of the 112 as well. I use a cable tie to press the lockbar down to take the tension off of the blade. Then it's just a matter of putting in the new blade and replacing the pivot pin. :)

This is something that I wish Buck would offer - the 112/482 bladeswap. What would it cost to have this done, Bighaze51?

I failed to take many photos when I did that conversion..... here is the knife though :)
Inspired to do mine because i saw Bighaze's :)

Here is a thread where i did a 501 and 484 conversion. More photos and basically the same process.
I didn't do any tutorial, but info can be gotten from the photos.
The main thing is to use a hammer and a pin punch to tap out the blade pivot pin.
Then swap blades and tap the pin (or even better a new one) back in and carefully peen it in place with a ball peen hammer.
Just don't peen it so heavily that it gets too tight!!
Then at the end, sand the bolster smooth and buff/polish it up.
