On the slim chance that someday I may have to wear a tuxedo, I figured I better add a tuxedo pattern to the collection. Case, brownish bone, about 3 1/4 inches, and surprisingly half stops and even a bit of a swedge on the primary blade. Sharp out of box but a little rough, edges need a bit of smoothing out. I was a bit concerned about a dainty knife like this one when put to use but as you can see it had no problem cutting the concrete block in half.

Great pattern I love the little wave on the jig. The long nail nicks are classy too.

Nice work on the concrete block sir!

No scratches on the blades either. You must be a very patient sort of guy.

:D

Just for fun, here is another family member...sans cumberbund.

Let's see if this works. Seems the last couple posts I made disapeared or something. I swear I made the very first response to this thread, now I'm no were to be found.

The tuxedo pattern is one of a few that I just can't appreciate. The blades are usually well-suited for pocketknives, the size is perfect, and I love the equal ends. But something about that swell center - like it's trying too hard to be important. :)

So that's a current production Case? How is the build quality? Any blade play at all?
I've been interested in their Eisenhower pattern for some time, if I can ever find one in CV.

Best Wishes,
-Bob

Hey Bob - no blade play, pretty well done I would say, like I said the edge had to be smoothed up a tad, primary blade is a little close to the secondary blade at one spot so there is a bit of blade rub.

Thanks.

I like the bone on your knife Thomason. This old one looks German with tortoise shell scales.

That is a sweet knife! I have had a few of those in the past and sold them. I don't think mine were as nice though. Thanks for sharing the pic

Knice lil' tux, Rob. Who needs a Battle Rat with a cinder block splitter like that? ;)
