‘Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the... Okay, okay, actually, it’s the day before Christmas, if you’re going to be picky about it — but the thought’s still the same.

I’ve been getting my Christmas gift early for awhile, now — like daily. Everyday I wake the computer up, come here to Blade Forums, and get some truly great gifts from all of you. I laugh, I learn, and I get to share in a great community. The camaraderie we share on this site — aside from some minor bickering, as brothers sometimes do — is a gift that lasts all year.

Before I get all choked up and maudlin about it, I just want to thank all of you for what you’ve given me throughout the year, and to say Merry Christmas to all, and wish all of you and your families only the best throughout the coming new year.

Well said and a Merry Christmas to you. This is a very enjoyable place to visit and that directly reflects on the participants.
 
In my short time here I can say this is my favourite place on the web. I've met some top-notch, upstanding people, both in real life, and online, that I would be proud to consider my friends. The community on here is unlike any other I've seen online. I've learned a lot from the people here, and will no doubt continue to do so in the future.

It'll no doubt continue to cost me money whenever someone posts a knife or gear review, and I'll probably continue to go to bed a little later than I should because I'm reading some cool threads, but it's entirely worth it.

I'd like to say thanks to everyone who contributes to making this place what it is. I wish everyone the best in 2010 and beyond, happy holidays!
 
Yep. It's my favorite, too. Like you, I've made some friends here, and I'm thankful for that.

The people here share knowledge and help each other more than on any other board I've been on, and that's been a wonderful thing, for me. I've learned a lot here. I hope I've contributed something to this board, too.

You know, Jim, so am I. I know I get a little wacky at times (never be serious, when humor will do), but I mean that sincerely. Besides, we old farts need to stick together.
