I lack a lot of tech now that I'm playing mountain man: smart phone, HD service for my flat screen, high speed internet for online gaming, dish washer, movie channels, washer/dryer, but the thing I miss the most is my DVR.

I've loved everything zombie (started to get a little played out over the last few months, but I'm back in full swing now ;)) since I saw the '90s night of the living dead remake when I was a teenager. The Walking Dead/Busse connection is a perfect alignment of the stars for me because I can side chat about it here, the only place I "socialize" or "social network".

Anyway, so yeah, missed an episode of TWD, don't have a DVR and (I thought) my internet is too slow to stream video, so I fell off for a while and have been avoiding everything TWD with a passion.

Decided to stay in this morning and trade the time I usually use for my other current favorite pastime, chopping, to catch up with what Rick and the gang have been up to.

I had seen up to where Michonne had left the town, so I knew the Governor was sick and has a room full of heads in jars, but the whole thing where he interrogated Maggie... I'm loading the latest episode right now, where Rick and crew storm the town, so I'm hoping Governor boy gets it.

I'm so excited, I'm totally back into the swing of things, zombie wise... And all the great shots with Daryl and what has to be the most photographed/filmed Busse of all time in this last episode where they're approaching the town? Freakin sweet! I love how in a tight situation, he fires his bow once, then rather than reload, pulls his TG. Nice...

In case anyone has forgotten:

I am impatiently awaiting the return on Sunday. Going to kick back, wrap up in a blanket and happily munch on popcorn. Hopefully my better half is caught up enough to not ask a zillion questions. With this storm we are expecting, I may even watch the marathon on Saturday/Sunday leading up to the return :)

Michonne is crazy! Don't heart her, she may pull a Larainna Bobbit on you...

Check out the comic series. The show is great, but it's losing the feel of the original series fast. If you think what the governor did to Maggie was sick you will have a lot to stomach from the comic. More like the difference between sesame street and Saw

Just finishing up watching the series again while looking forward to this Sunday's return. Walking Dead is one of my favourite shows ever; Daryl's TG just takes it to a whole other level.

Saturday 10 A.M. CST, begins a wekkend long marathon of "The Walking Dead". Great chance to get caught-up or refresh the memory!..;)

Sounds like a good way for me to spend this blizzard here in the NE.

If you have to be snowed in, what better way to do it than to watch a bunch of The Walking Dead? It's pretty much the only way I'd try to spend my time all cooped up

The governor is super creepy! There has never been a show I was so excited to see (except American Horror Story). I am counting the minutes until TWD returns! Thanks for the heads up, uyotg! Looks like Sunday will be dedicated to getting back in the zone. . . .

I'm Ready

Got my Kill-voisier right here (attempt at humor/wit via Lady's Man)

with some re-loads :)

Very nice Dave. I have a CF black and tan handled one as well.

There's a TWD marathon on right now, too :)

I read both of the compendiums and all i have to say is: WOW! Definitely a lot more extreme than the show. But the great thing about the comics is that they don't completely ruin what will happen in the show, the main events are mostly the same. But, the few different characters/plots make the comics well worth reading.
