I got a 307 blades are wobbly. Think buck would fix it? Suggestions? The knifed in great shape Idk if I should try the repair myself or not.

If you feel industrious, peen the pivot pins, then clean up the bolsters with progressively finer grits of sandpaper, finishing with a buffing wheel and compound.

The peening does the snugging up for you.... I rest one side on a 2x4, and lightly peen the other side, then flip it over and peen the other side. Just peen lightly a little at a time, checking the progress frequently.
it is easy to go too tight, if you use a heavy hand

Use a ball peen hammer and lightly tap around the edges of the pivot pin with the ball end of the hammer.
That "tightens" up and swells the pivot pin in the bolster.
Similar to peening the top of a rivet.

Yep, I use a 2x4 for a "softer" place to support the bolster, instead of an anvil.
a piece of cardboard on an anvil works too though.

Here is a deconstructed 703, very similar construction to 300 series knives.

Here is the same knife after rescaling with ebony, and swapping out the well used spey blade for an almost mint spey blade.

Whoops, looked again, that previous photo was the donor knife.....
Here is the donor knife being turned into a single blade sheepsfoot, with the recipient knife before anything was done to it.

Anytime you do a blade swap, you have to put in a new pivot pin, and peen the pivot pin to secure it in place.

Here is my high tech 2x4 I use, notice the hole to the right, in the second photo...... when I use a pin punch to tap out a pivot pin, I do that over the hole.
Also notice the pivot pin, unless the bolsters are super polished, it should be easy to see.

and here is a ball peen hammer.... for this stuff, a smaller, lighter ball peen hammer is best.

I don't really like twerking...

Seriously, I'm too afraid to venture into the land of taking apart peened knives. Awesome if you're comfortable with it. I'd do it if I were.
Otherwise send it to Buck. I'm sure they would help you out.

Buck would fix it up perfectly for you.

I just like to fix them up, and customize them for fun :)

The hardest part is getting up the nerve to start on the first one
After that it is more fun :)

I make custom handles, buff, file work engraving etc. I just like to get info an research before attempting certain things.

I've ruined lots of knives in the beginning when I was a kid, I've learned to research research research! I messed up some beautiful ones. A script buck 701 seems to come to mind smh
